With the introduction of a new partnership, our client had the opportunity to rethink how a user interacts with their products. Often user guides are overlooked, ultimately resulting in ongoing issues requiring additional and costly support. The Chijoff+Co team worked alongside to deliver a quick install guide that created greater user engagement.
Some of the elements that went into the development of the guide included:
- Detailed understanding of the users requirements
- How a user might interpret steps (and adjust accordingly)
- Elimination of any unnecessary elements
- Reduction of complexity
- Visual combinations for multi-action steps
- Compliance requirements, etc
The result was a simplified 2 page quick user guide that contained the right amount of material that a user needs and nothing more. Saving time for the user and ultimately time in ongoing support for the client.
